Great little rope February 26, 2010 callcam Great product for the price. Don't know if it will withstand the rated tolerance, but I'm sure it will hold several 100 pounds.
Best emergency line February 10, 2010 Nautus Terris 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Type III paracord is some of the most versatile line I use as a maritime professional. Latest application was rigging a new outhaul for an abandoned sailboat, which we could then sail back to port instead of towing. Amazing strength, weight, and ease of use.
Exactly what I needed January 30, 2010 wolbor It's paracord! What more can I really say... I haven't tested the supposed 550 pound limit (my 550 pound dumbells are, uh, at the shop). If I wanted some paracord to use with a heavy weight load, I might consider getting some from a well-trusted source, but since I have no intention of doing anything like that (just needed to wrap a knife handle) this stuff is perfect: stylish and CHEAP!
A must have item January 23, 2010 Doug C. (Arizona) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This paracord is extremely durable. With the 550 lb test, it is good for replacing shoe laces, securing snares, tent guy lines, hanging bear bags, fishing, hanging tarps, and just about anything else you could think of. The cut ends are melted from the factory to prevent fraying and I highly suggest you melt the ends of any cuts you make, but this tends to be common practice any time you're dealing with synthetic rope. As other reviews have stated, you can never have enough paracord. I don't leave home with out it. My paracord was shipped by Army Universe and arrived three days prior to the estimated arrival date. All in all I am very satisfied with this purchase and would definately recommend this product to my friends and family.
It's fine January 21, 2010 E. A. Gscheidle (Pennsylvania) I am no military para cord connoisseur, but this stuff appears to be fine and the real deal. The value and quality appears to be consistent with the price.
