Amazon.com Product Description From the renowned company that created the Swiss Army Knife a century ago comes the Swiss Army Classic pocketknife, a compact set of tools for campers, hikers, and boy scouts. Measuring 2-1/4 inches long, the Classic is stylishly cased in a timeless solid-colored housing with the familiar Victorinox logo on the side. More importantly, the unit contains all the classic Swiss Army tools, including a small blade for cutting, a pair of mini scissors, a nail file with a screwdriver tip, a toothpick, tweezers, and a key ring. As with all Victorinox items, the Classic is made to exacting standards, with dozens of steps going into its construction. Victorinox attends to every detail, from selecting the finest materials to performing the final inspection. In addition, each individual tool has been hardened in a different way to stand up to its designated use. As with all Victorinox multi-tools, the Classic carries a lifetime warranty. About Swiss Army Knives In 1884, Swiss cutler Karl Elsener set up shop in Ibach-Schwyz, installing a waterwheel in Tobelbach Brook to run his grinding and polishing machines. Thus began what would become the international brand name Victorinox, a combination of Victoria, for Elsener's mother, and "inox," or stainless steel. Today, Victorinox produces watches, luggage, clothing, and, famously, Swiss Army Knives. The original product dates to 1897, when Elsener patented the Swiss Officer's and Sports Knife he supplied to the Swiss Army. Following World War II, American servicemen and women shopping in PX stores shortened the name to Swiss Army Knife, which lives on in English-speaking countries around the world and has become a metaphor for versatility.

Quality is supperior March 6, 2010 W. Smith (Lincoln, CA) I have been carrying a pocket knife for over 50 years. I have used several brands and without question the quality of the Victorinox knives are superior. They hold their sharpness far longer than other knives I have used. The only reason I keep buying them is that I loose them, most often at airport screening when I forget to put in my checked luggage.
Awesome Product February 21, 2010 T. Nguyen Awesome knife. Came with everything i expected. knife, filer, scissors, toothpick and tweezers. price wasn't all that bad. the color was great. size is really convenient for things. great gift for people who care for their nails a lot. the nail filer
Handy Little Knife - Highly Recommended! February 21, 2010 CFH (Blue Ridge Summit, PA USA) We own three of these little Victorinox Swiss Army Knives, two of them on our car key rings and another one for my son. This knife has a good collection of tools, including a very good pair of mini-scissors (really!), a nail file and small flat head screwdriver, tweezers, plastic toothpick, and knife.
The knife blades were a little duller than I expected, but a few quick passes with my sharpener AccuSharp 001 Knife Sharpener put a very good edge on them.
We also have several of the larger Victorinox knives as well (including Victorinox Swiss Army Champion Plus Pocket Knife) and have never been disappointed with any of their products.
Highly Recommended!

Neat little knife February 7, 2010 JimC (Tulsa, OK USA) Very convenient little knife. Good for trimming nails and other personal tasks. I always keep it with me.
Love these little knives! February 7, 2010 Marla S. Morris (Fort Worth, Texas) We love these little knives. I had to special order this yellow one for a daughter who asked, "Am I old enough for my own knife?" If someone loses their Victorinox Classic Pocket Knife, they ask for a new one at the next gift opportunity. With small scissors, screw driver, tweezer, file, and knife, this is the perfect item on your key chain or in your purse or pocket. I use it when sewing or knitting away from home, opening packages, emergency glasses repairs, snipping price tags.
When you travel by air, be sure to pack it into your bags, as it will be taken at security. [We've lost two this way!]
Cleaning is simple: a wet sanitizing wipe or small alcohol swab will clean the blade easily.
Once you own one of these, you will be hooked. You will want to buy several colors, so each person can have their own.
