Great for the price June 23, 2010 Evoman (KALAMAZOO, MI, US) The unit doesn't bounce around too much when tightened properly. My only complaint is that the pocket is way too small. I still gave it a four though because the price is pretty excellent as far as I'm concerned.
Bounces Too Much!! May 31, 2010 E. Ostrover (New York, New York) I bought this pack for long distance running, but it bounces way too much and is extremely uncomfortable. The only way I could keep the water bottle in place was to cinch it so tight around my upper waist that it actually hindered by breathing! This is a horrible product and is only good if you want to use it for long walks. I'm very disappointed.
Not for anyone with a waist May 31, 2010 A. Tieman (Providence, RI) This hydration belt may work for men, but as a woman, I was sorely disappointed. The other belt I have has an elastic band, which I secure around my hips and it does not budge. This one has no stretch, and rides up with every step. I tried to push it down around my hips, but it wouldn't stay; then I tightened it to wear around my waist and it started riding up my ribs. Whenever it moved, the strap got loose, and it flopped and banged against me. I adjusted it so many times within my first mile, I got disgusted and hid it in a bush.
I bought it because it has a single large bottle, which I though would rest nicely in the hollow of my back--not the case. I'm returning it.
doesn't sit well May 23, 2010 L. Helgen This seems like a very handy pack - the pocket is sufficient for keys and ID BUT I couldn't get it to sit in one place on my waist while running, it is very frustrating. Like another reviewer I found a lighter bottle works better but there must be better out there and i'm not sticking with this one.
Not my preference June 15, 2009 A. Dorton 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I am a middle distance runner. I do not prefer this hydration belt. It bounced around at the back, which was uncomfortable. It rubbed a chafe mark in the small of my back. It feels rather bulky. I tried then switching it around and wearing it on the front, but that bounced a lot, and slowed my pace. However, if there was nothing else available, then I would have kept it.
The positives- it can hold a Razr phone, a key, and ID in the zipper portion. It has a small, reflective swoosh. The bottle did not slip out.
