Works pretty well as a start to aligning your scope, but not completely accurate. Figuring out how to use it was not easy. Durability is questionable.

What you spend on this product you will save many times over in wasted ammo. It is a little tricky to use but the results are worth it.

I bought this because of a trusted name brand. This was a big mistake, it must be made in China. I used recommended target and the laser dot looked like a squashed tomatoe. So I centered the squashed tomatoe then took it to the range. My Sako 7 MM shot completely off the target. I then sighted it in the old fashioned way. A half hour later I pull 3 shots in the bullseye at a 100 yards. Just goes to show you, you cannot trust in the old brand names.

I purchased this to sight the barrel and scope of my 'Savage Arms' Bolt Action MkII .22cal LR... Didn't even need the adjustable barrel mounts for it... My one problem? Its kind of a cheap system, don't expect it to work for anything but bore sighting... The laser expands to nearly a full in on anything further than 20 ft, so it is easier to see, but harder to guarantee accuracy with any higher powered scope... I recommend it, just for the price... It will not work with anything smaller than a .22cal... I tried it with a .177 High Powered pellet gun, and it didn't even fit down the barrel... so for anything .22cal and up, this is the laser bore sight for you.

I got this scope for sighting in my scopes on my Ruger 10/22.
Pros:
- Works fine in low light (indoors or after sundown).
- Fits the barrel well enough. I use only the .22lr attachment.
- Comes with adequate instructions and parts.
Cons:
- I sight in all my scopes at 50 yards. This item is visibly in the daylight up to about 15 yards if you're lucky.
- Not accurate and not adjustable. If you rotate it in the barrel, properly fitted with its adapter, you easily see it move on your target in a circle.
Other brands have adjustment screws exposed on next to the lens so you can fine tune any discrepancies or movement due to dropping it, temperature changes, etc... If it had this adjustment ability, I'd rate it 4 stars. If it was brighter, I'd rate it 5 stars.
Look into a Leupold magnetic bore sight - nicer and not the same problems.
