 Nice shoes, but.... March 3, 2010

My only complaint about these shoes is that the size 10 that I ordered and as shown on the tag inside the shoes is not really 10, I dare to say they are a true 9 1/2 and not 10...I can wear size 9 1/2 but I always get 10 to get the best fit especially at the end of the day when feet tend to slightly swell up. I always use my index finger to fit behind the shoe's heel and my heel. On size 10 my finger slides between them with relatively little force, on these shoes the size 10 that I got, my finger cannot easily fit so they are a bit tight...not too tight but a bit tight. I couldn't return them cuase I needed them for a trip abroad and had to use them anyway, had no other choice. I really like the design of these shoes so I hope wearing the shoes several times I will get a truly comfortable fit in order to be 100% happy about them.

Love these shoes for the trail and for the street. The sole provides stable support, shock absorption and comfort and lasts "forever". Unfortunately these shoes and their unique soles have been discontinued so get them before it's too late. The shoe also comes in Gortex, the Lowa AL-X, 68 which also has been discontinued but is available through Amazon.
