Amazon.com Product Description
Offering all the benefits of the Intex Raised Downy airbed but with the added advantage of lighter weight and mid-rise height, the Intex Pillow Rest queen inflatable airbed is ideal for travelers who want the comforts of a bed but the convenience of a blow-up mattress. The Pillow Rest is equipped with a quality-tested, 20.8-gauge waterproof flocked top, along with 15-gauge vinyl beams and 16-gauge sides and bottom. The resulting surface is comfortable and secure, whether you're sleeping at the in-laws' overcrowded house or setting up a guest bed in the basement. In addition, the Pillow Rest is remarkably easy to inflate thanks to the built-in, high-powered electric pump, which does its job in a mere three minutes. No more fussing with tiring hand or foot pumps or rummaging through the garage for your detached electric pump. And should the mattress feel a little too soft or firm, you can customize the comfort level with the touch of a button.

The Pillow Rest is raised 17.5 inches from the floor, making it far taller than most inflatable mattresses, and includes built-in pillows for added comfort. And at 64 by 19.5 by 82 inches (W x H x D), the mattress is an official queen size, making it a good fit for fitted sheets. The Pillow Rest queen bed--which offers a capacity of 600 pounds--comes with an AC power cord, a shoulder strap, and a duffel bag. It's also backed by a 90-day limited warranty.

2 out of 5 stars Not good at holding air   July 29, 2010
Jen
We bought this mattress to take with us to Oklahoma to stay at my hubby's parents house (we just got home a few days ago). The first night was fine but by the second night the air began to leak out. I would wake up in the middle of the night feeling like I was in a hole because of how much air leaked out. We started deflating it every morning because of space issues and even re-inflating it every night didn't help the situation because we still lost air halfway through the night. Not sure if mine is defective or if all of them do this but I didn't like it!!

5 out of 5 stars air mattress   July 26, 2010

This air mattress was a great value! It's well made, easy to use (built in pump), and comfortable to sleep on...What more could you ask for?!

4 out of 5 stars best price I found   July 25, 2010

Perfectly fine air matress. My only critisism would be that the matress is too high for sheets to fit all the way under. The indent 1/2 way up keeps them on but is just an indent, not a crack or crevase for the sheets to tuck into. Worked for our 6'+ 250+ house guest!

4 out of 5 stars Nice air mattress, good price. Not for long-term use.   July 25, 2010

This mattress works as advertised. The built-in pump inflates the mattress in a matter of minutes, and when you're done, it helps deflate it, as well. The mattress is comfortable, and is pretty much everything you could ask from such a reasonably priced unit. The only failing is that the first unit I received leaked air - enough air to be noticable in the middle of the night.

This was the first time I got to test Amazon's return policy, and I can give it a big thumbs up. I requested a replacement unit, and was able to use this one until it arrived (which didn't take long at all, very nice). Sending the old unit back was as easy as dropping it off at the local UPS store.

The second unit held air much better, and I still have it today. It does slowly lose air, but I'm not sure that any air mattress holds 100% of its air for the long haul. In any case, for my use, a slow leak that requires just a short bit of pumping up after several days is not a deal breaker. This is why the unit gets 4 stars instead of 5.

If you plan on using this as a long-term replacement mattress, you may be annoyed with it, as you'll likely have to pump it up once a week or so. Of course, this is super-easy to do with the built-in pump. If you use it like I do (short-term usage for camping or guests), then you'll be more than happy with it. Then again, maybe I'm the exception, and most of these mattresses hold air better than the ones I received.

2 out of 5 stars Its OK   July 23, 2010

I bought this, was looking for a good deal on an air mattress. The first night or two, it was perfect, but a leak must have developed because now, it inflates and is deflated by the middle of the night. Problem is, I don't know where to look to find the leak. It could be anywhere and I may or may not see it. Haven't spent much time looking for it and I just packed it away for now, but hopefully the next time I use it, I can patch it up.

I didn't expect it to be amazing and I got what I paid for, but wish it would have lasted a little longer.
