Warm and Toasty July 1, 2010 Csyrette (sault ste marie) If your looking for a roomy and super warm sleeping bag then you won't be disappointed. These are not backpacking bags and are a bit heavy but if you are car camping these are more than what you need. We just came back from camping where the weather was chilly. I was going to turn on our heater for the tent but I decided to see how the bags stood up. We didn't need the heater with these bags. I purchased two to put them together (make sure you get a left and a right bag). When put together I would say it turns into a very big queen size bags. THe only thing that I have problems with are the zippers. Maybe its just me but I always have to fiddle a bit with the zipper. The first time i put them together I thought that I had actually broke it. I also at first didn't like that the zipper zips up in the middle but now I actually prefer it this way. There were three of us using these bags with plenty of room (mommy, daddy and baby boo (2). Another quality of the bag that I loved was the inside of the bag was soft. I looked forward to crawling into a cozy bag instead of the slippery cold nylon that I had been used to. I ordered the olive green bags and the inside where tan. The tone of colour between the two bags are different which surprised me but really doesn't make a difference to us. At the end of the day I am very happy with the bags. Great price Great bags!
I wish I had known... June 5, 2010 Buying a different bag 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This bag is big, I mean really big. But that's ok, so am I at 6'1" and 250 pounds. It should be big enough for a seven foot tall 500 pound linebacker or two average people and their dog. I'll have plenty of stretch room. I have three issues with this sleeping bag. First, the cotton liner is attached only at the zipper and the foot. While using it, this liner is loose and moves independently from the rest of the bag, resulting in me becoming twisted up in the liner when I turned. I had to get it sewn to the rest of the bag. I'll see if this reduces the warmth. Second, the hood would fit someone with a head about two feet across. Third, the stuff sack that it came with is way too small and I had a wrestling match getting it back in. I bought a much larger compression bag to be able to pack it. Would I buy this again? No. Maybe the dog will like it.

Purchased a left & a right zippered sleeping bag. Wanted to zip them together to be large enough for 2 comfortably. Works great, lots of room, great length for tall people (I am 6'3"). Very comfortable, but a little tough to zip together, but not a big deal.
Nice and warm... May 1, 2010 Dennis R. Simpson (California) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bought 2 of these for my Grandson and me to go camping together. Bought a Left and a Right so we can zip them together if needed to stay warm. Not a problem, these bags kept us warm and snuggy.

This sleeping bag is alright. It is a workout to roll up and pack into the carry pouch. I slept with it in 40 degree weather on the side of the mountain and felt very cold all night. The zip together feature is cool for sleeping with someone else. This could also have benefited from more padding, felt stiff all night.
