Product Description Brand new light weight mummy sleeping bag make by Suisse Sport the brand name you can trust. Perfect for all your outdoor activity. This sleeping bag is the ultimate protection with style.
Amazon.com Product Description Stay extra-warm on high-altitude camping trips with the Suisse Sport Alpine double-layer sleeping bag. The Alpine is equipped with 3 pounds of Hollowblend MicroTekk Z1 fill, a cozy synthetic insulation that keeps you warm at temperatures as low as 5 degrees F. The fill makes this bag a great choice for chilly fall or winter camping, or for alpine hiking trips when you're preparing an ascent. The bag also includes a double-layer offset quilt construction that keeps the fill from bunching up, eliminating cold spots as you sleep. And to make sure the wind doesn't sneak in while you sleep, Suisse Sport added a drawstring hood and draft tube. Other features include a soft polyester lining for added comfort, a handy compression sack for transport, and a cozy mummy shape. Machine-washable, the Alpine bag measures 84 by 24 by 33 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 5 pounds fully packed.

Nice and Warm! July 13, 2010 David Frydenlund (San Francisco, CA) I recently took this on a backpacking trip in the Yosemite backcountry and it worked perfectly. It keeps you very warm on those cold nights. Great product!
Best Bag I've Ever Had June 24, 2010 Sasha Quist (New York, NY) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Don't buy it if you're claustrophobic, because it's really snugg. However, there's enough room to roll over if you're a fidgety sleeper, and it keeps you super warm. Wind just sluices right off.
Nice sleeping bag for the price June 2, 2010 D. Albano I finally used this sleeping bag during the Memorial Day weekend in the Eldorado National Forest. Temperatures dropped to mid 40's in the evening with little to no wind gusts. I was surprised how much room I had compared to other sleeping bags I have tried. Actually it's probably a little too big for my upper body. As previously commented, I too had a cold spots on my lower back area. Mind you, I'm 5'6" tall and 170lbs, I wore 2 layers of clothing, and sleeped on a 2 1/2" inflatable Pacific Outdoor Equipment® Max Thermo Mat with a "R" rating of 3-4. The bag does compress down into the stuff sack, but it still takes up a lot of room in my 4000 cu in backpack. Its not something I would use for backpacking, even though it does come up as a backpacking sleeping bag when using the search engine in Amazon. All in all, its still a great buy, and I'll get plenty of use car camping with it.
Decent bag, but temp rating of 0 to +5 F too optomistic May 10, 2010 Citizen #2025 (Arizona) 9 out of 11 found this review helpful
I used this bag while camping in Prescott, Arizona the first weekend in May 2010, which was unseasonably cold and windy with the overnight temperature reaching just below freezing. I had a good quality Thermarest pad under the bag inside a Kelty Riverbend 2 Webforce tent. The wind was moderate, but steady and moved through the tent. The bag performed well until the temps dropped in the early morning. At that point I could feel a moderate loss of heat from the bag around my torso as I shifted my sleeping position to my side, making me wish I'd brought my mil-surplus wool blanket. Also, I could feel the wind sometimes coming through the zipper. The drawstring on the hood area of the bag performed great, allowing me to cinch the opening down to stop all of the wind. I am 5'7" and average build, and find the width of this bag more roomy that my North Face Blue Kazoo (down), but not as warm. I will continue to use this bag, but with a cover blanket, and certainly not if I expect temps to drop below 25 F.
Big enough for me February 20, 2010 Stephen M. Krieger (USA) 19 out of 20 found this review helpful
I had ordered this sleeping bag, based on the fact I had gotten my son the smaller/compact Suisse Sport bag and it worked real well for him. This one, is equally well-made and it fits me better than the compact one (I can fit in it, but I look like Dracula in his coffin). The larger one here, I actually have some wiggle room. If I had any complaint about it at all, I wish the hood drawstring closed further down. It seems the material bunches up before it can fully cinch shut.
For those wondering if they'll fit, I'm 5'10" and 230 lbs, with a 46" chest. I have plenty of leg room as well.
