My husband has had back problems for years. Unable to get comfortable on a standard mattress, he tried an air bed. The first one he purchased leaked constantly. He had to patch it and reinflate it several times a week. After several months it had over a dozen patches and wouldn't hold air 12 hours. I found this bed on Amazon and he gave it a try. Wow! What a difference. First and most important, he finds this bed extemely comfortable, and he likes the raised edges and front that help keep him from rolling off the bed. It holds air and he has only had to add a little air 2 or 3 times. It also seems to be quite durable. My cocker spaniel jumps on and off it all day long, and she loves to sleep there, too. We are very pleased with the bed.

I read all of the great reviews on this mattress by purchasers. I guess I got one of the lemons. Mine is shaped like a boat. High on the ends and sunk in the middle. Amazon is great though, RMA'd online, shipped me a new one the next day, is having UPS pick up the old one and they're taking care of shipping! Couldn't ask for better customer service! I'm hoping my new one lays flat like it should. I'll update my review when I receive my new one this coming week...stay tuned!

I am so disappointed with this product. I did my research before making this purchase and felt confident in my selection. We are having a housefull of people visit over the summer and I thought this would be a perfect solution for my 7 year old granddaughter. Two days before the first group of visitors was to arrive I inflated the bed. I was amazed and pleased at the ease of this process. Next morning I walk by and notice that the bedding is dragging on the floor. I thought perhaps I had not turned the dial to the inflated position so I redid the process. Before going to bed that night I walk by and again the bedding is dragging. I rested on the bed while reading for an hour or so and realize it is not me...it is the bed. I don't have time to return and wait for another bed. I am afraid my granddaughter might suffocate if she were to sleep on the bed. Amazon responded to my email, however, the could only accept the return of the product since Toys N Games Etc is the actual seller. I thought maybe Toys N Games ETC might respond but I guess if you sell and inferior product you can't expect customer service too! I am really disappointed. I felt for the price and could have expected more...I can buy an air mattress at walmart for $10.00 and I guess I should have.

I have used this mattress two nights so far when visiting my grandchildren. The built-in pillow is reasonably comfortable, although I used a separate pillow the second night [I typically sleep on 2 pillows at home]. It is extremely easy to inflate and deflate using the built in pump. I wasn't able to get it as compact as when originally shipped, but it fits nicely into the carrying bag with strap, which is very handy. I had no sensation of sleeping on an air mattress per se. It was noticeable only when needed a little extra push to get out of it in the morning. The extra length is nice and regular single sheets fit with no problem. I use a mattress pad with it as well.
