Product Description The insulated Big Agnes Air Core sleeping pad for mummy bags is so light you'll never tire of carrying it, and so comfortable you may need an alarm clock. PrimaLoft eco insulation is 50 percent recycled, making this 3-season pad a smart choice for comfort and warmth on backpacking and camping trips. Full-length 2.5 inches thick pad is waterproof and lightweight, and packs down to the size of a nalgene water bottle.

| Customer Reviews: better than therma-rest July 22, 2010 camper1 Although this mattress does not self-inflate, it only takes a few breaths to fill. Provides much more comfortable sleeping than my 10 yr old therma-rest; I can sleep on my side. Insulation keeps ground chill & dampness away too. Also packs small so it stows away easily.
Nest nights sleep in the woods ever! May 10, 2010 Frank T. Steele (Phoenix, AZ USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am hooked on the Big Agnes sleep system. the bags have no insulation on the bottom (Why should they, your body just smashes it, and insulation only works when it is "lofted") You get one of these pads and slip it in the sleeping pad sleeve on the bag and viola! You can't roll of the pad and when you toss and turn your bag never gets tangles, just like at home!
You HAVE to get an insulated pad if the temperature is going to be below 50 degrees, or the ground starts to suck the heat out of you with convection. This pad has a higher R value than the therm-a-rests, is lighter and way more comfortable at 2.5 inches thick, and less expensive to boot. Even if you don't have a Big Agnes bag, these are great mats.

So much better than a thermarest! Packs smaller, lighter and is way more comfortable. Great product. Every time I take it camping with friends they are VERY jealous when they see how thick my sleeping pad is and amazed at how small it packs down. It only takes a minute to inflate and it is totally worth it!
