Great little beach tent! September 1, 2010

Once we figured out which were the "long" poles and which were the "short" poles, it was kind of easy to put together. It did take two people to assemble. The instructions were useless. It was sturdy, blocked the sun and wind, and was pretty roomy for two adults and a child. Will definitely use again next year!

This tent was a lifesaver. My family and I went to Croatia for the summer and spent 100% of the time in the sun. Sadly, I have developed a strong sensitivity to the sun. This tent was lightweight enough to pop into my suitcase and so easy to assemble. I was able to sit under this tent and enjoy the beach while protecting myself from the sun. I am almost six feet tall, my boyfriend is six-four and we both fit in the tent *lying down side by side* !!
It is a little flimsy, so I'm not giving the product a 5 star review. And with all due respect for the dude who is clearly a tent/map folding genius (dude, if you are reading this, your review made me buy the tent)it is a pain in the behind to fold into the little carrying pouch. But hey, if I wanted a super durable tent, I would have shelled out more than $30 bucks for it. I am really happy and would buy it again.

My husband usually hates the beach because he hates being in the direct heat and sunlight... But now he can't wait to go back! It took less than 10 minutes to put together and once it was done he lay down in it, there was a nice breeze blowing between the two windows and despite the 100 degree heat we barely felt it. My husband took a little doze and I was able to get some sun but go in the shade when it got to be too much. I am going to buy another one for my parents!

I am so happy we bought this tent! It is very durable so easy to set up and put back in the bag! We have a 14, 12, 9 and 17 month old at the beginning of our vacation our baby didn't want anything to do with the sand and he stayed in the tent all day! When I was up in the room giving him a nap our other 3 children stayed at the beach with dad and would rest in the tent or sit and have a snack. If you are going on a beach vacation and do not want to spend $100 on a tent then this is the tent for you! We had tons of compliments on it. I did set it up in our living room before we left and took it down and it fits in the bag perfect! We were at the beach 7 days and I did not worry about folding it back up in the bag everyday we had a utility room that it could be folded up and sit in. We cleaned it all out and rolled it back in for our trip home! The sand pockets were all we needed and we had some really windy days! If you buy this you will not be disappointed! Enjoy!
